It would be better to test the ohms. Some might click and some might not. I've heard from different clients the same solenoid clicking and not clicking and the ohms reading to be the same. Its been our experience the best solution is to replace the solenoids and check the harness too. Once it warms up the solenoid works with less trouble. Once it warms up it shifts ok-ish unless the air temp is cold like now in the winter time. It has a delay from 3rd to 4th and it will either rev and then go into 4th or downshift all the way back to 1st. VW dealership says I need a new transmission. I changed the fluid and there was no metal shavings or metal bits in it. Do I need a transmission or would a valve body with new solenoids fix this?Sethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11509152293403217545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-202917637259881085.post-81593628995007640152012-06-15T11:29:10.428-04:002012-06-15T11:29:10.428-04:00@Mark You are very welcome.@Mark You are very welcome.CobraTransmission.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11158458977988611291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-202917637259881085.post-41693195920318323832012-06-15T06:50:29.091-04:002012-06-15T06:50:29.091-04:00Thanks for explaining about this Japanese Transmis...Thanks for explaining about this Japanese Transmission valve body with the diagrams.
