Transfer Case Kit Contents, Fork Pads

Transfer case have forks and the forks usually have a plastic on the fork know as a fork pad or shoe.

Units that usually wear the pads quickly will contain the pads in the master kit. Some units come with the pad molded right on the fork itself.

In the case where the pad comes molded on the fork, you will need to order the fork if the pad is damaged in your unit.

One unit that comes with a molded fork pad is the NP or New Process 261.
