A transfer case is part of a four wheel drive and or an all wheel drive systems found in cars, trucks, SUVs and crossovers. Transfer case is connected to the transmission directly or remotely and to the front and rear axles via drive shaft. Some transfer cases are engaged manually and other electronically. In the case of an all wheel drive (AWD) system the unit is always on.
Your New Process Transfer Box has a label or tag like the one illustrated here with the model number on the top. The assembly number followed by the serial number and the ratio on the bottom of the tag.
For proper identification purposes the model number is the one you will need. In some instances you will need the other information.
The list will indicate a specific model first followed by the link for the chain. If the chain is not listed or there is a "-" please call our toll free transmission number at 1-800-293-1848 so we may better assist you.
