Chevrolet Yukon Transmission

A common question we get all the time is "what transmission is in my GMC Chevy Yukon?"

The Yukon from 1994 to 2004 used a 4L60E or from 1993 to 2004 a 4L80E.

The way you can tell the difference between the two is by counting the bolts on the pan.

A 16 bolt pan means you have a 4L60-E, and a 17 bolt pan means you have a 4L80-E.
