The thinner filter is 5/8" inches thick and the other filter is 2" thick as you can see in the picture below.

A440F Filter Differences
The A440F Automatic Transmission, which is commonly used in the Toyota Landcruiser from 1985 to 1992, is fitted with two possible filters. The filter are essentially the same with the exception of the thickness.
