There are two drums in this transmission, lets take a closer look at the differences:
Input Drum with Shaft:
With pilot; excluding 2.8L and 4 cyl (298mm, 30 spline converter) 1993-Up
With out pilot; 2.8L and 4 cyl (245mm, 27 spline converter) 1993-Up
With out pilot; 300mm, 30 spline converter 1998-2005
With out pilot: 300mm, 30 spline converter with reluctor 2006-Up
Reverse Input Drum:
No check ball, has round oil holes in bore 1993
No check ball with large feed holes 1993-Up
The Bushing Kit, Thrust Washer Kit and Bearing kit are the same for all years. Parts can also be purchased individually instead of the kit.
Here is a list of the different Reaction Sun Shells:
Washer type with 4 washer holes 1993-Up
Bearing type with no washer holes 2001-Up
The Beast - Hardened and Thickened with 4 tang washer 1993-Up
Sun Gear and Shell Kit also available
Cooler line fittings are available as follows:
5/16" X 1/4"; 1993-1995
5/16"; 1993-1995
Push-in type: 1996-1997
Steel Cooler Lines with flair fittings (will fit other transmissions):
5/16" X 30, 60 or 72"
3/8" X 30, 60 or 72"
