Transfer Case Chains

The chain or chains listed with each transfer case are the most common ones that come in that particular unit. Your transfer case might have a different chain than the one listed. In order to insure proper chain selection the year make and model of the vehicle is needed.

If the chain is accessible a visual description would help in addition to the information above. Some units made in Europe use a slightly different configuration. In that case if you have a European version please let your friendly sales associate know.

Clutch Kits

In addition to the automatic, standard and transfer case parts we offer top quality clutch kits from Luk Clutch System Components and PRO Gold Performance Kits.

In order to insure proper parts replacements please provide year, make, model and engine size.

New Process Gear Transfer Case

New Process Gear produces transfer cases and standard transmissions. Chrysler, Ford, GM and Jeep all use New Process transfer cases.

A transfer case is part of a four wheel drive and or an all wheel drive systems found in cars, trucks, SUVs and crossovers. Transfer case is connected to the transmission directly or remotely and to the front and rear axles via drive shaft. Some transfer cases are engaged manually and other electronically. In the case of an all wheel drive (AWD) system the unit is always on.

How do I know the model number of my NP Transfer Gearcase?

Identifying your New Process Transfer Case.

Your New Process Transfer Box has a label or tag like the one illustrated here with the model number on the top. The assembly number followed by the serial number and the ratio on the bottom of the tag.

For proper identification purposes the model number is the one you will need. In some instances you will need the other information.
