The NP236 contain friction plates and steel plates. A friction and steel kit is available and contains 10 frictions and 9 steel Plates. Frictions and steels can be purchased individually.
The NP236 electric shift transfer gear case is used in the GMC Chevy S-10 Blazer, the S-15 Jimmy from 1998 & up and the Envoy from 1998 to 2001.
This unit uses a 1.00 inch wide by 49 link chain.
