NP-263 came with several chain designs.

1 1/2 inch wide x 49 link
1 1/2 inch wide x 42 link (NP263SHD, NP263XHD)

The NP263 electric shift transfer gear case is used in the GMC Chevy pickup 1500, 2500 and 3500 models, Suburban from 1999 and up, Avalanche from 2003 and up, and Tahoe and Yukon from 1999 and up.

The NP263 SHD and XHD are heavy duty transfer case gear box used by the Dodge company for its full size pickup trucks from 2001 and up. This includes the one ton, half ton and quarter ton pickup models.
