As you can see in the pictures below the top of the filters are identical on both filters. On the reverse you will see where one is pretty much flat with no obstructions and the other one has a flap like design know as the rib.
AW55-50SN Filter (AF33-5, RE5F22A)
The Aisin Warner 55-50SN is also know as the AF33-5 and RE5F22A. It is used by Saturn, Volvo and Saab to name a few. There are two possible filters for this unit and both have a year range of 2001 and up. The filter sold the most out of this store is the one without the rib. If you are not sure I suggest purchasing both filters.
